Please tell us briefly about and the work that you do?

The Wingate Group is formed of two businesses, Wingate Financial Planning (WFP) and Wingate Benefit Solutions (WBS).

WFP are a multi-award winning Chartered Financial Planners who care deeply about helping private clients to understand and fulfil their lifetime aspirations.

WFP seek to inspire confidence and loyalty in our clients through the peace of mind they have a plan for the future which is regularly reviewed and adjusted.

WBS help businesses design, implement, and manage their workplace pension and employee benefits to ensure employee engagement is maximised.

What are the visions of WFP and WBS?

The vision of WFP is to be the leading firm of Chartered Financial Planners in the south-east, by providing a valued long-term financial planning service.

WBS’s vision is to be the employee benefit consultants of choice for small and medium sized businesses by working as an extension of a business, increasing the impact and value of the benefits provided to a business’s employees thereby increasing their engagement.

How will WFP and WBS achieve your visions?

Both businesses work in the same way in that we:

• Listen to your hopes and dreams, want to understand what worries you and we use this information to clearly define your goals. This is the Discovery stage.
• Once we have spent time learning about you, we will use our expertise, advanced planning tools to evaluate potential strategies under a variety of outcomes. We will then create an overview report and personalised plan. This is our Enlightenment stage.
• To move closer to your vision and goals , advice may be required as identified in the Enlightenment report, this is our Navigation phase.
• Once our advice has been delivered and agreed , we take responsibility to ensure that the ‘plan’ is implemented properly. This is our Implementation stage.
• We continually review your ‘vision’ with you, along with your various plans, and underlying investments. Changes are recommended to maximise the opportunity to achieve your goals. Your goals, personal/business situation and legislation will change over time; actual experience will certainly be different than originally forecast; and planning assumptions will need adjusting. Regular reviews provide a way to adjust your plans when required. This is our Control stage.

How do we contact WFP/WBS?
Both businesses will willingly hold an initial conversation with you to understand your requirements. WFP/WBS will bare the cost of this meeting.
WBS offer a free review of any existing business and workplace pension that are in place and this service is designed to provide commentary on how these benefits comply with legislation, offer value for money and meet the contractual commitments of the business.
